It’s the Dawg Days of August and many of the Georgetown Hoyas Men’s Basketball team are home (or taking a little vacation) for a few days before the fall semester starts. This might be a good time to recap some of the last few weeks of Hoyas news:

The team had a dinner together, but somehow forgot to document their lunches.

Recently, John Fanta spoke about Georgetown’s additions in a 4-minute episode of BIG EAST Shootaround (Hoyas starting around 2:34)

Kenner League completed a few weeks ago and, if you haven’t bee reading the Casual posts (1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 3, 4), Brandon Murray and a few other new faces have been standing out. It sounds like the Finest Magazine will have some features.

In the semis, D’Ante Bass showed off some of his great athleticism.

In other news, Austin Freeman is officially joining Kevin Broadus at Morgan State.

Freeman helped Chris Wright and Dawg Talk beat the snot out of the Colllege Park Boys in the inaugural ABL game.

The Georgetown Hoyas have been having some fun on social media

And Georgetown has been giving away some great prizes to season ticket renewals.

Some folks are a bit behind on the GU roster news, but others seems to be feeling a bit optimistic about this team.

Of course, we can always relive the glory days of being a Hoyas fan.

And be sure to help out D’Ante’s family, if you can.
