3-star, 6’2” guard Denver Anglin, from New Jersey, will be announcing his college decision on Wednesday. The Georgetown Hoyas have been pursuing Anglin at least for several months.

Anglin is rated 3 stars by Rivals and 24/7 and plays for Gill St. Bernard’s. He has offers from some solid programs and a couple rivals, including UConn and Providence.

Jamie Shaw and Rob Cassidy have each made a prediction on Rivals that Denver Anglin will choose Georgetown!

Stockrisers wrote about Anglin before the summer season started:

The 6-foot-2 combo has asserted himself as one of the best two-way guards on the east coast.

Anglin gives you a very nice combination of skill and being vocal. He’s always one of the loudest players on the floor but also brings you elite skills on both ends of the floor. Speed, great playmaker, can score on all levels, and is also a very capable defender. I’d expect him to add more muscle before his departure to college, but, he has thrived and is deserving of much more attention.

A Syracuse blog reported interest from their staff, saying “the three-star Anglin isn’t highly ranked by some of the recruiting services [b]ut make no mistake about it, this young man can flat-out play” and that they’ve “read a flood of comments from analysts and other recruiting insiders that speak to Anglin’s extreme proficiency in shooting from beyond the arc” calling him “a high-energy prospect who also excels on the defensive end.” The blog also noted that he’s may be ikely to “emerge as a four-star, top-100 player in the 2022 cycle when all is said and done,” you know, unless he picks Georgetown.

Anglin has indeed been making some noise this summer as part of NY Renaissance.

Let’s see what happens! Personally, I thought it was a pretty simple decision back in May.

UPDATE: The pick is in and it will be posted in an interview with Adam Zagoria at 2PM.
