Well, there were no big surprise additions today for the Georgetown Hoyas, but what Patrick Ewing and Co. may have some clarity to their roster.

  15. Chuma Azinge JR G 6-3 (WO)
  16. Victor Muresan SO F 6-10 (WO)

Here are some potential lineups based on who many Hoyas fans have been positing as starters. For example, “Blue” might start in Game 1 in November—feel free to disagree—and adjustments made during the season.

Blue

  1. Dante Harris SO G 6-0
  2. Donald Carey GRAD G 6-5
  3. Aminu Mohammed FR G/F 6-5
  4. Tre King SR F/C 6-9
  5. Timothy Ighoefe JR C 7-0

Gray

  1. Tyler Beard G 6-1
  2. Jordan Riley G 6-4
  3. Kaiden Rice GRAD G/F 6-7
  4. Kobe Clark SO F 6-4
  5. Ryan Mutombo C 6-11

Teal

  1. Chuma Azinge WO-JR G 6-3
  2. Jaden Robinson WO-SR G 6-3
  3. Collin Holloway SO F 6-6
  4. Jalin Billingsley FR F 6-8
  5. Malcolm Wilson RS-JR C 7-0

Rising Sophomore Jamari Sibley has been left off of the roster and lineups. His Instagram profile no longer has “Georgetown” mentioned (h/t #hoyatwitter). That news is hardly anything to really hang a hat on, and apologies to Mr. Sibley if it’s not the case, but the Hoyas are one man over the limit and the whispers have grown loud too ignore.

UPDATE: Sibley is indeed transferring.

Potential Small Ball Lineup

  1. Dante Harris SO G 6-0
  2. Donald Carey GRAD G 6-5
  3. Kaiden Rice GRAD G/F 6-7
  4. Aminu Mohammed FR G/F 6-5
  5. Tre King SR F/C 6-9

Of course, this could change at any moment. Chudier Bile or Jamorko Pickett could technically come back without counting toward the scholarship limit (UPDATE: Pickett is going pro and hiring an agent, as is Bile). Another transfer in or out is certainly possible.

Freshmen are expected to arrive on campus first week of June.

What are your thoughts on the roster and lineups for the 2021-22 Hoyas?
