Are you ready for some more soccer, as a fan/student/alum of this fine #FutbolSchool? Tired of beating your head against the wall while waiting for basketball recruiting news that may never arrive? Your Georgetown Men’s Soccer team is back in action today, facing off against Marshall in the third round/Quarterfinals/Elite Eight (...the event nomenclature is alarmingly not standardized...) of this year’s NCAA Tournament. The game is set for a 1pm start from Cary, North Carolina.
After largely dominating possession throughout both halves and coming away with a 3-2 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions just before the weekend, the Hoyas look ready for their upcoming Elite Eight matchup over the Marshall Bison, who beat top-seeded Clemson in their previous contest.
As far as I know there is no planned national TV coverage for this particular game, but it will be available for streaming online via this link. Hoya Saxa!
Monday? Nah, GAMEDAY!
