Soccer School: Georgetown men’s soccer outlasts West Virginia on penalties to advance to NCAA Soccer Final Four

On Saturday, December 4th at Shaw Field, in front of a record crowd of over 3,000, the Hoyas came from behind to tie the game 1-1 in the 67th minute, and then after regulation and overtime, won in penalties 4-1. The win sends the Hoyas to the final four in the NCAA tournament for the second time in 3 years (the Hoyas won the national title in 2019 over UVA).

#3 Georgetown will play #2 Washington in Cary, NC on Friday, December 10th, and #4 Notre Dame will face Clemson (who beat #1 Oregon State in penalties in their quarterfinal match) in the other national semifinal.
