It’s finally happened—an official roster update from the 2021 BIG EAST Tournament Champion Georgetown Hoyas has been posted. Of course, there is one big hole that we’ve pretty much discussed to death already.

Over the weekend, the Kenpom ratings were released, and Georgetown and the BIG EAST appeared favorable.

We’ll see tomorrow at BIG EAST Media Day how the coaches think things will pan out, now that they have a full roster to evaluate.

Here is the roster:

Earlier this month, this humble lunch blog contributor estimated the minutes-spread for what we expected the roster to be. That’s gone to crap. So here’s a new one:

Of course, Hoyas fans are still waiting on any bit of news of a Hoya Madness or an Open Practice announcement but there are whispers of a virtual fan event forthcoming in early November. We shall hold our collective breath to see if it includes old practice videos or not.

Personally, I’m more than a little peeved with the apparent arbitrary and capricious rules of what events are allowed to proceed on the Hilltop. Men’s lacrosse and soccer each had alumni event this past weekend, while events like reunion, homecoming, and in-person Hoya Madness tend to be unselected. I will chalk it up to “indoor” COVID rules ... for now, but I’ll let you read my late-night tweets.

Also, yesterday we have a new episode of Hoya Locker Room with some interesting insight and season previews featuring some of the biggest Hoyas fans (not named “whipple”).

What are your thoughts on the roster for the 2021-22 Hoyas? Who is going to start?
