Some good news today as the Fightin’ Hoyas of Georgetown will, indeed, resume conference play by hosting the Providence Friars at the world famous McDonough Arena on Saturday. The game will now be televised on CBS at 1PM.

It’s unclear if practices have resumed, but the announcement is a good sign.

It has been 17 days since the Georgetown Hoyas (3-8, 1-5) played a men’s basketball game.

Meanwhile, UConn is having their own (third set of) COVID-19 issues. UConn men’s games vs. Villanova, St. John’s were postponed after a referee from Butler game tested positive for COVID-19.
