The New York Knicks and MSG Networks have declared this upcoming week “Patrick Ewing Week.” In case you didn’t know, the coach of the Georgetown Hoyas had an illustrious career in the NBA with several years as the league’s most dominant center on both ends of the floor

Starting Monday, July 6th, MSG Networks will be replaying games and specials that feature the Hall of Fame center. Programming will also include a Wednesday-night showing of the 1984 NCAA championship game between Georgetown and Houston, preceded by an interview with the Knicks and Georgetown legend himself.

The only downside is that MSG is not necessarily carried outside the metro-New York area. It’s not like you can post up in your local pub and watch satellite these days, either.

The Knicks may have a few tricks to reveal on Twitter yet, and many of these games might be on YouTube. Still, it may be your best bet to find someone in North Jersey or Connecticut with a cloud DVR.
