Collin Holloway, a 6’6” Class of 2020 Wing out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has committed to Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown Hoyas.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound forward averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds a game as a senior while leading Port Allen High to its first boys basketball title. He can play wing and post. His strengths are said to be his rebounding and driving from the wing.
SF/PF Collin Holloway for Port Allen (La.) has a strong built, rebounds well for his position, finishes well at the rim and moves well without the ball. He is showing all of those attributes this morning currently versus Hall. Port Allen up 42-35 late in the 4th.#TGHoopfest

MaxPreps has Holloway ranked 6th in Louisiana and Verbal Commits gave him two stars. Hudl has some highlights.
Collin Holloway told The Advocate:
“They have been recruiting me for a while and today my family and I were on the phone with coach Patrick Ewing and the whole coaching staff,” Holloway said. “We all talked and I decided to commit.
“Georgetown has everything I wanted. I get to play for a coach who in in the Hall of Fame, they’ve got a great coaching staff and it’s the chance to play in the Big East.”
The Advocate also reported that “Holloway said he got exactly what he wanted when he committed to Georgetown on Wednesday” and that “A timetable for Holloway to sign with the Hoyas is still developing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Holloway previously relayed via Twitter that Coach Kirby had been speaking with him since at least March, and that he was perhaps deciding primarily between Georgetown and Wichita State.

Likely complicating Georgetown’s roster situation since Holloway’s March discussions with GU staff, two graduate transfers and a freshman guard were added and a rising junior guard moved on.
Holloway (Wing) joins a freshman class of Jamari Sibley (F), Tyler Beard (G), Kobe Clark (G/F), T.J. Berger (G), and Dante Harris (G), as well as Arkansas graduate transfer Jalen Harris (PG), and grad transfer Chudier Bile.
After Mac McClung’s departure, it now appears that all the scholarships are currently taken. It’s unclear how the concurrent talks with other 2020 recruits, such as reclassified 5-star recruit Moussa Cisse or Florida transfer Andrew Nerbhard, will proceed.
There are now 8 new players expected on Ewing’s 2020-21 squad.
