The people love the Georgetown Hoyas’ senior forward George Muresan, especially the students. In case you haven’t heard, our boy Little Georgey came up huge against DePaul as he helped break the press and iced the Blue Demons with two key free throws.

George Muresan was called upon to close out the game after Jamorko Pickett fouled out. Muresan performed admirably in front of his father and an excited Saturday student section.

4 years of being a loyal and good teammate to the program and doing nothing but putting his head down and working hard and waiting on his opportunity. @little_georgey definitely deserved his moment today. #clutch #HoyaSaxa pic.twitter.com/wEJ3vR0r9o

After Muresan drained the pair from the charity stripe, it was all handshakes and smiles from Ewing as he worked up the crowd...

There’s plenty to unpack this week for the Hoyas and even giving a good look ahead, but George Muresan more than deserves his special moment casually commemorated on this lunch blog.
Keep it up George! HOYA SAXA!
