SCHEDULE UPDATES: Creighton Rescheduled, UConn Date Announced for Georgetown (UPDATED 1/14)

UPDATE 1/14: Georgetown’s game hosting DePaul (January 13th) was cancelled, and games at Providence (Saturday) and at Marquette (Wednesday) have been postponed as well. No make-up dates have been announced.

UPDATE 1/12/2021: Georgetown released schedule news for the Xavier (1/26) and Providence (1/30) games, each to be televised on FS1.

UPDATE 12/29:

It appears BIG EAST schedule news will trickle out weekly, if not more often.

The tipoff time for the DePaul at Georgetown game scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 13 has been moved from 7PM to 8:30PM and FS1 will televise.

Additionally, the date of the UConn at Georgetown game has been moved from Wednesday, Feb. 24 to Tuesday, Feb. 23. Tipoff time has yet to be announced but the game will be on FS1.

The schedule table below has been updated, while GUHOYAS does not appear to be. Check the BIG EAST schedule for other conference games.

DEC 23, 2020 — Just when you thought it was all set, the conference announced two changes/additions to the schedule for the Georgetown Hoyas.

The other week the BIG EAST released the majority of the remaining conference schedule and the all-important TV schedule. These changes may seem innocuous on first glance, however, the scheduled is getting a bit crowded.

For instance, the Hoyas supposed next game, December 30th, hosting Creighton has been moved to Tuesday February 9th. The previously canceled UConn game at home is now slated for February 24th.

Looking at the full schedule, the changes create a back-to-back home-and-home with 13th-ranked Creighton in early February. The games are only 6 days apart!

After the game at Seton Hall, Georgetown really doesn’t play another game until the evening of January 2nd when they host Marquette? Woof.
