How long has it been...since we last faced off against Bob Huggins and the West Virginia Mountaineers? In case that is something that has been missing in your life, the projected dates & locations for the Big 12-BIG EAST Battle were announced earlier today.
Your Georgetown Hoyas are planning to host WVU on December 6th, per the fine people of Twitter:

Enjoy. pic.twitter.com/QAlwoJr4F5
Since the traitorous Mountaineers left the BIG EAST nearly a decade ago, these two teams haven’t seen much of each other. However, the Hoyas did beat WVU in the first-round NIT game hosted on campus at McDonough Gymnasium back in 2014.
(Please note that when we organize and engage in these events with other conferences, they are typically described as a “Challenge.” This is called a “Battle,” so I guess the folks in charge are familiar with the atmosphere in Morgantown and have dispensed with the facade.)
We will share additional details on specific times and TV listings as they become available.
Hoya Saxa!
UPDATE:
Per WVU’s schedule, it looks like West Virginia is indeed visiting Georgetown at 4:30 on Sunday December 6th at McDonough Arena.
