Exhibition Game 1: Georgetown Hoyas at the Bahamas National Team
When: Thursday, 5pm
Where: the Kendal G. L Isaacs National Gymnasium
TV: FloHoops ($)
The Georgetown Hoyas have begun their #BahamasBusinessTrip as park of their seven-day foreign tour from August 10-17, 2019, where they will play three exhibition games against the Bahamas National Team.
The BNT beat Texas Tech on Wednesday with a score of 63-57.
How To Watch:
FloHoops has the game listed on its schedule:
- AUG 15 5:00 pm 2019 Georgetown Game 3: Bahamas
The requisite PRO subscription can be paid either monthly ($29.99/month) or annually ($150 paid yearly). We cannot guarantee it will work, but some fans have reported receiving a discount offer when signing up and not yet upgrading to PRO. The other games appear to be available on-demand.
The in-game rules-expectations are that, like other touring college teams and prior games, the Hoyas will play under FIBA rules, which includes a three-point arc at the new NCAA distance of 22 feet, 1¾ inches. There would also be a 24-second shot clock and using four 10 minute quarters (with 5-minute overtime periods). The FIBA cylinder rule certainly makes crashing the boards fun to watch.
