Michigan is the late entrant in the recruitment of Williams, a local product out of Gonzaga High School (DC). Michigan extended an offer just two weeks ago.
Per the story linked above, Williams had this to say about Georgetown, which has been recruiting him for years:
‘Georgetown: I feel like I would also fit in the Georgetown system with how they play in transition and half court offense.’
As a reminder, Georgetown hasn’t had a non walk-on commitment from Gonzaga player in a long, long time:

Williams, in a bubble, is not a make or break recruit. But you gotta wonder what’s happening with your local recruiting if you can’t pull that kid.

We’ll see what happens.
