Govan, Mourning, Johnson to play NBA Summer League

Georgetown’s former forwards will play with Toronto, Miami, & Brooklyn

The Georgetown Hoyas will be well represented this summer with three new graduates receiving invites to the NBA Summer League. Games will be played July 1st through 15th.

Center Jessie Govan will play with Toronto.

Govan had official pre-draft workouts with Charlotte, Brooklyn, Washington (rescheduled), Bulls, and the Lakers.

Trey Mourning has been invited to the Miami Heat’s summer team.

Trey Mourning worked out with Washington, Miami, and Sacramento.

Kaleb Johnson, who worked out with Orlando and Washington, will play Summer League with the Brooklyn Nets.

Meanwhile, Greg Malinowski, who worked out with Charlotte and Orlando, will play for Team USA and Coach Ed Cooley in the Pan American Games.
