There’s certainly a basketball media tsunami heading into 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four in Minneapolis and, if last year is any sign, Patrick Ewing will again be riding the wave. In San Antonio last season Ewing caught up with Dan Patrick, Tiki & Tierney, Doc Walker, and John Fanta with BIG EAST Shootaround, as well as radio stations from Charlotte and Indianapolis.
Parsing those 2018 Alamodome interviews the casual commentors gleaned that (1) a transfer was coming to the Georgetown Hoyas (eventually identified as Omer Yurtseven) (2) a scholarship was open for the ‘18-’19 season, and (3) Jessie Govan and Marcus Derrickson were testing the NBA waters (with Derrickson eventually leaving). So, this year, nothing exciting will happen...
In his weekly SiriusXM radio show Ewing promised that he would be visiting the Final Four and it appears he’s made his way to Minnesota!

Coach Ewing is already scheduled to visit Dan Patrick in the show’s studio sometime after 9AM (likely live-streamed on Bleacher Report with a free trial).
No word from Tiki & Tierney, but they are in town for their afternoon (3-6PM) shows.

Ewing’s co-host on “Center Court” is broadcasting (10AM - 1PM) for Team980 from MN, as well. It’s a safe bet Ewing makes an appearance.
Also, Jessie Govan is expected to “GO LEGEND” in the 2019 Reese’s College All-Star game at US Bank Stadium at 4:30 p.m. ET, broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
