In addition to the commitment of grad transfer Terrell Allen, the Hoyas have secured the commitment of 4-star Class of 2019 SF Myron Gardner.

Gardner, a 6’6” forward out of Detroit, held offers from Cincinnati, Xavier and Minnesota among others.
Per this article, Gardner is described as “an intense competitor with big time athleticism, Gardner plays above the rim in transition and can be a lockdown defender at multiple positions.”
Georgetown: “Georgetown was good. I like Coach (Patrick) Ewing a lot. He’s a hall of famer and there’s not anything better than having a coach who played at the highest level and performed to maybe learn from.”
PrepHoops reported in July 2018, after Patrick Ewing and the Hoyas offered Gardner a scholarship, Coach Mike Faletti of The Family AAU said:
[Gardner] is a combo forward for us. He does a really good job of overpowering defenders with his strength. He finishes well through contact. Does a good job of rebounding the ball and pushing it in transition. He has sneaky athleticism and has a quick first jump. Also capable of hitting the open three for us.

Georgetown is currently one over its scholarship limit for 2019-20, so stay tuned.
Welcome to the Hilltop, Myron Gardner!
