The Casual Bracket Challenge is Back!

That’s right, it’s new and unimproved for 2019

Brian Spurlock -USA TODAY Sports

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! That’s right, ladies and gentlemen - it is finally March. Naturally, that means it’s time for all of you basketball savants to prove just how much more you know about this game than the rest of the miscreants who regularly read THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON. Reminding others that your knowledge is superior to their own is probably one of Georgetown’s oldest traditions.

What better way to celebrate ‘amateur’ athletics, brand new commitments, and meaningful spring basketball for the first time in four years than...a little bit of low-stakes gambling? Sure, that sounds right.

How do you enter?

CLICK HERE to join. (If the link doesn’t work, look for “Casual Bracket Challenge” in ESPN’s bracket search function. The group should be public.)

Why should you play?

Stop lying to yourself. You are not doing any (school)work this time of year anyway.

When does it close to new entries?

Picks must be in before the Round of 64 games tip tomorrow.

What will you win?

Eternal glory. Bragging rights. Perhaps a Casual Hoya postcard or two, if you’d like.

And don’t forget, your Georgetown Hoyas tip off against the Harvard Crimson in a fight song matchup tonight at 7pm, airing live on ESPN2 from historic McDonough Gynmasium. Get ready.
