Patrick Ewing Returns to Sirius Radio

Fans of the Georgetown Hoyas will be glad to hear that head coach and legend Patrick Ewing has renewed his participation in a SiriusXM talk-radio show with Doc Walker.

Last year Ewing gave insight into the team, his playing days, recruiting and talked a little modern-day sports, too. There was typically a special guest dialing in to share a laugh with Patrick.

This year, starting Monday October 28th, Ewing and Walker will dive back into outlook for the future and insights into yesteryear. The press release appears to suggest a wider target audience, so perhaps some more college hoops will be included.

While this episodic audio content comes at a tiny notch below Kente Korner with Bobby and Casual, Patrick Ewing undoubtedly provides insight of the past and present that is unique and special to Georgetown fans.

For instance, the world is clearly begging to hear about Ewing’s recent weight-loss and what he is eating for lunch.

Center Court with Patrick Ewing Returns for Second Season on October 28

WASHINGTON – Center Court with Patrick Ewing, a weekly show with Georgetown University’s head men’s basketball coach and co-hosted by Rick “Doc” Walker, will return for its second season on Monday, October 28 on SiriusXM’s ESPNU Radio (channel 84). The Hoyas open the season on Wednesday, November 6 when Georgetown welcomes Mount St. Mary’s to Capital One Arena for a 7 p.m. matchup. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
