There were rumors in the spring and a tease at a pep rally, but Georgetown has finally introduced Jaden Robinson to the Twitter-verse as a new addition to the 2018-19 basketball team.

Jaden Robinson appears to be 6’5” guard from Suffield Academy (CT).

As of February, Robinson appears to have been still selecting a school—Suffield’s twitter reveals that Robinson’s grades and test scores were highly competitive.

Hoops-wise, he is listed as a 2018 NEPSAC Class A Awards Honorable Mention, but that site also appears to be incorrect on which college he had declared. Suffield Basketball also tweeted that last season was a post-grad year.

They shared some highlights from the season in this tweet:

A note on Jaden as a senior speaker at Suffield reveals that he is, in fact, from Maryland.

From Reistertown (sic), Maryland, Jaden Robinson talked about the importance of perspective. “The false sense of entitlement is one of the great flaws of the human race,” he stated. “Just as individuals cannot control the circumstances into which they are born, a generation of people cannot control the world which they are brought into. We all have the power to make change and give the unborn a better world.”

It appears that prior to his year at Suffield, Robinson attended Mount St. Joseph’s. Georgetown lists Robinson as #22, from Baltimore, and out of Mount St. Joseph’s.

The Mount footage indicates a lefty with a decent looking shot. MaxPreps had that team ranked #3 in Maryland...

Welcome to Georgetown, Jaden Robinson and best of luck.
