Georgetown forward Marcus Derrickson will enter the NBA Draft and will hire an agent, per the below.

This news is surprising given Derrickson’s comments after Georgetown’s season ended, and leaves Georgetown now with a big hole to fill at PF next season.
Perhaps this is why the Hoyas have been in pursuit of Pitt transfer Bryce Golden, who has included Georgetown on his final list of options.

A quick-fix option to Derrickson’s departure may come in the form of NC State transfer Omer Yurtseven, who is rumored to have already committed to Patrick Ewing and the Hoyas. Yursteven had been exploring professional options but per a source may play for the Hoyas next season.
