Remember the Alamodome?

NCAA Basketball: Seton Hall at Georgetown Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Georgetown Men’s Basketball Coach Patrick Ewing has taken some time from his busy recruiting travels to head to San Antonio for the NCAA Final Four (and presumably root for Loyola, who he beat in 1985?).

For one, Coach Pat —in a sweet Jordan Brand GU warm-up—appeared on the Dan Patrick Show, and talked about differences in the game (especially in defense and big guys shooting) around 5 min and coaching Georgetown around 9 minutes, and ... recruiting at about 11 minutes.

The whole thing this is worth a watch.

Then #33 blocked the shit outa the producer of the Dan Patrick Show (to fulfill his dreams!):

We also heard Coach Ewing appear on The Team 980’s “Inside the Locker Room” with Doc Walker, Brian Mitchell and Scott Jackson.

Check their Audio Vault for the first hour in mp3-form (starts around 21:00). This is very good stuff.

Also, Coach Ewing will appear on Big East Shootaround with John Fanta on Saturday.

We will update some of these with links as they come, but feel free to share any insights in the meantime.

UPDATE 3/30 5:10 PM

WFNZ of Charlotte had former Coach John Thompson II on the show from San Antonio, and then Patrick Ewing took the mic and even shouted-out to Charlotte scoring-record-holder Kemba Walker. The recording and transcript are available now.

And it appears that Coach Ewing appeared on Tiki & Tierney at 5:40-ish, and the archived recording is on their website.

Indianapolis’s Query & Schultz (where Schultz is a bit of a fanboy) had an interview with Ewing at about 5:20 EDT and the recording is available as a podcast.

UPDATE 3/31:

Coach Ewing comes on at 11:24 (but the entire video deserves to be watched, if you’re a Big East fan)
