Per Jon Rothstein, Ron Thompson—son of former coach John Thompson Jr. and younger brother of former coach John Thompson III—will be joining Patrick Ewing and the Hoyas staff in an administrative role for the upcoming season.
Ronnie Thompson --- brother of JT3 and son of John Thompson Jr. --- will join Georgetown's staff in an administrative role, per sources.

Since pictures began surfacing of the younger Thompson in athletic gear at team events earlier in the summer, such a move has been suspected.
