Tremont Waters spurned Georgetown once again.
The 4-star 2017 recruit will sign a Letter of Intent with LSU, according to a report from Scout.com. As a reminder, Waters previously decommitted from Georgetown back in March amid the discussion of coach John Thompson III’s future. Thompson was eventually fired and replaced by Patrick Ewing, of course.

Ewing re-recruited Waters yet this scenario — the not-picking Georgetown part — seemed inevitable once the process lingered and lingered and lingered. Maybe one day we’ll learn if the Hoyas were close in their rebound attempt.
