Per his twitter, Andre Rafus, Jr. will visit Georgetown this Friday. Rafus, a 6’9” SF small forward from Baltimore (MD) Lake Clifton, announced his decommitment from TCU on Sunday. The Hoyas had been in his final 3 prior to his commitment to TCU.
As Aaron Breitman points out, Rafus is a very talented forward. He mentions Rafus’ ability to score anywhere on the floor, and his high release jump shot that defenders struggle to irritate. Also, he states Rafus’ ability to attack the rim with full control of his body. Another point worth mentioning is Rafus has great ball-handling skills, he won’t dribble into turnovers.
2017 Andre Rafus Jr. who decomitted from TCU today, tells me he has already heard from Georgetown, Gonzaga, and Penn St.

Rafus is ranked by 247 Sports as the 40th best small forward in the Class of 2017.
After the commitment of William & Mary transfer SG Greg Malinowski, the Hoyas have one scholarship remaining for next season.
