2017 PG Jahvon Blair Commits to Hoyas

The Hoyas have landed 2017 point guard Jahvon Blair, Casual Hoya’s Ben Standig confirmed with CIA Bounce coach Tony McIntyre. The Ontario’s Athlete Institute committed shortly after an official visit this week.

“Pass first point guard,” McIntyre said of the 6-foot-4 left-hander from Canada. “Capable of getting guys involved. Knockdown shooter. 3-point threat. Guy that guys are going to want to play for. MVP of Jordan Brand international a couple of years. ... I think they’re getting a steal.”

Read more here on Blair. What this point guard means for Georgetown’s continued pursuit of another point guard, Tremont Waters is unclear. At some point the Hoyas need to move on get help for next season and beyond. Looks like they’ve done that with Blair.
