Jahvon Blair Visits, Tony Skinn Interviews, and Cargo Shorts Madness

Georgetown Hoyas

Class of 2017 PG Jahvon Blair is visiting Georgetown over the next few days, per his twitter account.

Who is Jahvon Blair?

Per Endless Motor Sports:

The 6’4″ south-paw is one of the most under the radar lead guards for the class of 2017. DraftExpress wrote of Blair, “he figures to be a very productive college player who could develop into an NBA prospect in time.” Best known for his outstanding size at his position, making clutch shot, and ball-handling.

EM: Can you describe your game for those that are not familiar and what areas you work on?

JB: I’m a 6’4 pass first point guard who likes to get my teammates involved, but when I have to turn it on for my team, I can score the ball. I would say I have to work on everything to get to where I want to be. I feel that in order to become great you have to work on every part of your game to improve your overall skills.

Highlights below:

In addition to Georgetown, Georgia Tech has been in to see Blair recently.

In assistant coach news, Tony Skinn will interview for a spot on our bench.

Skinn, a former George Mason standout and assistant on the local AAU squad Team Takeover, would be a great addition to the staff. Look for an announcement on the staff in the next couple of days.

In other news...

Georgetown marketing guru to the stars Chris Grosse has done it again, this time generating national press for his latest seed of genius - the Cargo Shorts Retirement Party.

Not sure where you might stand on cargo shorts, but personally I found them very valuable back in the day until my wife told me they looked horrible and banished them from the house.

(Or at least she thinks she did as I still have a pair at the bottom of one of my drawers)

FOR. THE. WIN.
