ICYMI: Rodney Pryor wins CollegeSLAM Dunk Championship

One more for the road. - Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

One of the Hoyas made it to the Final Four this year! At Midnight Madness this past October, John Thompson III jokingly refused to sing Happy Birhday to Rodney Pryor because he hadn't yet done anything for the team. In a preview of what was to come, he won the dunk contest by impressing the judges and pulling off this gravity-defying move (h/t @GeorgetownHoops). Thirty-two games and dozens of highlight plays later, the grad transfer showed he was more than worthy.

Pryor was one of only eight players invited to participate in the State Farm College Slam Dunk Contest in Phoenix. While we all know what he's capable of in a game, last night gave us a chance to see what the young man could do with no defenders and no rules. He was nearly perfect and impressed the panel of judges, pulling off spectacular dunks in all four rounds of the competition and taking home the title.

It looked something like this:

Way to end the season with a win. Hoya Saxa.
