Stevens is listed at 6’8”, 257 pounds and averaged 16 points and nearly 12 rebounds per game for the Bobcats last season.
As the Hoyas currently have just 8 players under scholarship next season, the staff will likely need to fill the remaining spots with JUCOs, grad transfers, and any remaining 2017 players that have yet to commit. Georgetown went the JUCO route last offseason with point guard Jonathan Mulmore, who is currently projected to start next season.
Per his assistant coach:
"He is a 4 that could play the 5. He can score at all three levels at will. If he loses a little weight he has the potential to be a pro. He offensive skill set is very high. Athletic. Can rebound all over the floor. He visited UALR in the fall. Visits should happening soon. Bruce wants to go to a program that will utilize him the most. He wants to feel comfortable that he is going to a place that is going to get him better and get him to reach his highest potential as a player and person."
