Georgetown junior wing L.J. Peak has decided to forego his senior season and declare for the NBA Draft. He averaged 16.3 points and 3.8 rebounds for the Hoyas during his junior year.

This news comes as no surprise to most Hoyas fans, as Peak recently welcomed a child into his life and frankly had no reason to return to school for his senior season.
Best of luck to L.J. and hopefully we’ll be able to see an NBA jersey for him up on the wall in The Thompson Center in the near future. Peak is the 54th best prospect in the 2017 Draft per Draft Express.
Peak’s departure leaves Georgetown with just 8 scholarship players for next season, and with additional transfers possibly on the horizon.
