Coppin State! What’s an interesting thing most people don’t know about the school?

The most recent thing about Coppin State is they hired a former National Champion and Baltimore native, former Maryland Terrapin Juan Dixon. I think he has a good chance to revitalize their program.

How have they been doing this year? Do they have a shot at contending in the MEAC?

The Eagles have struggled early this season but are somewhat in a rebuilding phase. I see them as a team that could finish in the lower tier of the MEAC.

Which players on Coppin State should Hoyas fans be aware of?

PG Dejuan Clayton is the guy who makes the Eagles run. He gets after it on the defensive end, and has the ability to score but is streaky.

What kind of style and tempo do the Eagles rely on?

Coppin State plays a medium pace, they are more of a half-court team but they will look to get out in transition. They like to spread the floor to let their guards create as that is their strength. They will use a lot of high ball screens and weave action. They will come out and play mostly man-to-man defensively.

What do you think about Patrick Ewing’s start as Hoyas coach?

As a lover of basketball at all levels and a huge Charlotte Hornets fan, I couldn't be more happy for Patrick Ewing. I thought it was long overdue that he got an opportunity as a head coach, but good things come to those who wait and what an opportunity to land at his alma mater. He's ahead of schedule in my opinion. He's got his team competing at a high level and on the same page. I hope his success continues.

You have to put the ketchup directly on the fries. Furthermore, you have to open the pack in the middle with a small hole to maximize the amount you can spread.
