Great news for the Hoyas today as the NCAA granted Georgetown center Bradley Hayes a 5th year of eligibility.
Hayes announced his return in what was supposed to be a senior farewell speech at the annual team banquet.

Bradley Hayes announces that the NCAA has granted him a 5th year of eligibility. Will return next season.

Georgetown had applied for a waiver for Hayes based on his freshman year season where he played just 15 minutes and lost his father.
The return of Hayes, who was one of Georgetown's bright spots last season, leaves the Hoyas with arguably the deepest team in the Big East.
