Update: Class of 2016 PG Denzell Hosch Has NOT Committed to Georgetown

As it turns out, someone in the Hosch camp jumped the gun on the news that he had committed. In reality, Georgetown hasn't even extended an offer.

The Hoyas aren't playing on the court but JT3 and the staff are still busy off of it, and today reeled in much-needed point guard help for next season as Denzell Hosch has committed to Georgetown.

Hosch a 5'10" PG out of Shelby High School in Shelby, North Carolina, is rated as a 2-star prospect by Verbal Commits. Hosch went to the Army after graduating high school and has 4 years of college eligibility remaining.

Hosch's addition gives the Hoyas a 2nd natural point guard on the roster behind rising junior Tre Campbell.  Hosch joins shooting guard Jagan Mosely in next season's class.

After the addition of Hosch, the Hoyas have one additional scholarship open to fill for next season.  Here's a look at scholarship table.

Welcome to Georgetown, Denzell Hosch!
