While we're on the topic of supporting our school's sports programs, the #2-ranked Georgetown Women's Soccer Team qualified for their first ever College Cup berth! For the uninitiated, this is the equivalent of playing their way through four rounds of single-elimination and making to the Final Four. Even more impressively, they have not allowed a single goal in the tournament, recording 5 consecutive shutouts and notching 8 wins in a row stretching back to the regular season.
The ladies will be taking on #7 University of Southern California tonight, the first ever meeting between the two squads. The winner of this match will watch the late game where #6 UNC faces off against #1 WVU for the second spot in the Championship game.
The game is being hosted by Santa Clara University out in California, the very same school that the Hoyas knocked off to earn their spot in this semifinal round. (Ouch?)

In addition to killing it on the soccer field, they appreciate a good song & dance number, adopting "Do you know the way to San Jose?" as their anthem after that last victory.
Rachel Corboz and Liz Wenger sang their own rendition of "Do you know the way to San Jose" at dinner tonight. #sticktosoccer pic.twitter.com/1lfZkP9Aqh

Hoya Blue sent a small group of students out to support the team, and you can keep up with their activities on twitter using the hashtag #FinalFoyas and following the @HoyasWSoc feed.
The game is set for 7:30 pm ET and will be broadcast live on ESPNU, as well as online/mobile through WatchESPN.
