Georgetown Men's Basketball to Host NCAA Selection Show Party on Sunday
WASHINGTON - The No. 23-ranked Georgetown University men's basketball team will host an NCAA Tournament Selection Show party at the Leo J. O'Donovan Dining Hall on campus on Sunday, March 15.
The selection show party is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m. and fans are encouraged to arrive early. Fans can also meet up with the Hoyas in Red Square at 5 p.m. to walk with them to the dining hall for the selection show.
Admission is free and there will be free food and drink, as well as a chance to meet the Hoyas and get autographs. The live show begins at 6 p.m. on CBS. Fans can arrive at the Leo J. O'Donovan Dining Hall at 4:30 p.m. to get seats early.
Head Coach John Thompson III and members of the team will be available for interviews following the announcement of the bracket.
Georgetown, ranked No. 23 in the country by the Associated Press and No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches' poll, is 21-10 overall and advanced to the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament for the sixth time in 11 seasons under Thompson III and the 22nd time in program history. The Hoyas are ranked No. 25 in the latest RPI Ratings and have a strength of schedule tabbed No. 8 nationally.
