The Georgetown Hoyas are No Longer a Nationally Ranked Powerhouse

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

After a week in which the Hoyas dropped both of its games, the Top 25 is now in the rear-view mirror.  However, all is not lost!

The Hoyas are still at the bottom of Gary Parrish's Top 25 and 1, and, more importantly, a firm 6 seed in The Bracket Matrix.  For now, this team is in no danger of slipping to the Bubble with a resume that includes zero bad losses.

Whether the bright lights of the Top 25 gets to this team or not, the focus needs to be on beating Seton Hall, a team that Georgetown has oddly struggled against in recent years.

Georgetown has six games remaining until the Big East Tournament.

One game at a time.
