Casualites of the world (more specifically DC): get yourselves to The Tombs this Saturday night, December 12th at 7:30 PM for the first ever (officially anyway) Otto Porter Appreciation night. The event is sponsored by the Wiz Happy Hour Group and their founder Chris Ford sends us the details:
We are doing an Otto Porter appreciation night at the Tombs in Georgetown on Saturday (12/12) night at 7:30pm. A chance to celebrate a local player as well as support the Wizards and the Hoyas. Georgetown has a home game in the afternoon and this would be the "afterparty" as the Wizards have a night game.
We have free Otto Porter gifts for the first 15 people in the door, we are giving away an Otto Porter autographed photo, we'll have our Otto Porter Big Head and a bunch of those masks we did for the Kevin Durant thing, but all different Otto Porter faces.
There will also be 2 specialty drinks for $5 (one G-town theme, one Wizards theme) as well as $5 premium drinks. We'll also have a couple other prizes (gift certificate to Tombs, shot glasses). Wacky Otto chants/bits/schtick/etc
The event would start at 7:30pm with an 8:30pm wizards tip-off. They will have game audio throughout the bar.
Find more info on the event on the Facebook page and head out to Tombs to support Otto!
