The Big East announced the preseason awards in the lead up to Big East Media Day 2015 and the coaches picked Georgetown to finish second in the conference behind Villanova.

In addition to being picked to finish near the top of the conference, the Hoyas also placed two players among the preseason All-Big East teams. D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera was named to the first team, while Isaac Copeland picked up an Honorable Mention nod.
