Trey Mourning, the son of Georgetown legend and the recently elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame Alonzo Mourning, will play basketball at either Georgetown, Florida or Duke.
Trey Mourning will pick between Georgetown, Florida and Duke in the next 2-3 weeks.

Though Mourning, a 6'9" power forward from Miami, is an unranked 3-star prospect, he appears to have good footwork in the post, surprising range on the perimeter and solid shot-blocking skills. At his point he probably has to be considered somewhat of a Hayesian project, but as the Hoyas currently have an open scholarship and are in need of frontcourt depth after Moses Ayegba's transfer, he would be a good fit on the Hilltop.
One would have to think that given Alonzo's affinity for Georgetown and his bond with John Thompson that the Hoyas are in the lead for Mourning, though Florida has recruited him for a long time and Duke is well, Duke. Should Trey choose Georgetown, he will join the sons of other Hoya legends Patrick Ewing (Patrick Ewing, Jr.) and Reggie Williams (Riyan Williams) to wear the Blue and Gray.
