Per assistant coach Kevin Broadus at last night's team banquet, Georgetown forward Greg Whittington WILL be back for the Hoyas next season.
According to Broadus Greg Whittington will be back next year and will be great for the team.

Though this news was widely expected, it does put to bed any rumors that Whittington would not be eligible to play for Georgetown due to the academic woes that compromised his eligibility last season. With Whittington back in the fold, the projected starting 5 is as follows:
C: Josh Smith (assuming of course, that he will be eligible to play 2nd semester)
F: Nate Lubick
F: Greg Whittington
G: Jabril Trawick
G: Markel Starks
D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera and Mikael Hopkins the first two off the bench and both potentially playing starters minutes.
So, we've got that going for us.
Happy Georgetown Day, y'all. Go get hammered and make bad decisions.
