Syracuse University Basketball Under Investigation By NCAA

Say it ain't so!

In what has now been an annual rite of passage for Syracuse University before the start of the NCAA Tournament, CBS Sports is reporting that the Syracuse University basketball has been under NCAA investigation for a period of "years". This news is shockingly not shocking to anyone who has followed Syracuse's basketball program over the past few decades under the watchful eye of head coach Jim Boeheim, which we exhaustively documented in this piece back in December.

Go ahead and read the CBS story which is linked above and then feel free to comment below. Personally I like this excerpt the best:

A source with knowledge of the case told CBSSports.com: "Throw a dart at the [NCAA] Manual [and you would hit a violation by Syracuse]."

Jim Boeheim has scheduled a press conference this evening at 7:30pm which will be broadcast on SNY. This may just be his regularly scheduled presser before Syracuse's NCAA opener against Montana, but then again, with hints that Boeheim was considering retirement before Syracuse's move to the ACC next season, it may not be.

Stay tuned.

Also, feel free to commence dancing wildly.
