10. TEN! That is the number of games we've played since that loss to USF, and we won every damn one of them. Wednesday night made me damn near crap my pants in the middle of class, but good thing I didn't because Otto "Pope Hoya I" Porter decided he wanted to keep the delusion train going. In fact, the delusion train is rolling so hard over here on campus that I'm pretty sure most people don't know we actually have a game tomorrow. That's right, we're apparently so good that Rutgers is worth overlooking. Well I know better, because I remember that first shitshow up in New Jersey. These guys have shown they can hang with us and if it wasn't for Otto (again) in that one, we may have actually had another embarrassing loss on our resume. Rutgers is not good, we should beat them, but they will give us damn near everything they've got. This team has to expect that from every single opponent down the stretch. We're not used to it, but now WE are the ones with the targets on our backs, so the pressure is even higher to keep playing at this elite level. I'll be watching from the comfy reclining chairs in my friend's beach house in Topsail Beach, North Carolina likely with a nice cold brew in one hand and the Gamethread in the other. Documentation WILL be provided. For those of you who plan to venture out to the phonebooth tomorrow, give these kids the welcome they deserve. Come early, be EXTRA loud, wear gray. Hoya Saxa.
