God, what have I done?
This song peaked at #35 on the Billboard Top 40 in 1995. That's about right.
It went to #4 in France.
Since I've been at Georgetown, I have picked up a few bits of knowledge. One of those bits is that there are 3 certainties in life: death, taxes, and beating St. John's. Georgetown is 4-1 in the last 3 years against the Johnnies with the lone loss coming on a fluky play at the end of regulation back at the very beginning of 2011. I know you guys are gonna hate me for putting the jinx on, but let's be real, St. John's is not a top 5 Big East team. Moe Harkless was the best thing they had since the 40s and he bolted for the NBA last year. Who else do they have? That Obekpa guy? Yeah he was good for 6 blocks and 10 boards against us 3 weeks ago, but we still scored almost 70 points in that game! I mean, MAYBE we should be slightly scared of D'Angelo Harrison now that he's caught fire, averaging 19 points a game in his last 4, but those came against DePaul, Rutgers, Seton Hall, and then DePaul again. Hell, I could score in double figures against DePaul.
St. John's doesn't impress me and shouldn't impress anybody. Seriously, if Jahidi's nervousness level is anywhere above "yawn" for this one, I really suggest he see both a psychiatrist for the stress and paranoia issues and a cardiologist for his blood pressure which must be somewhere in the 200s by now. I just want this thing to be here so I can pick up another shipment of Casual SWAG for my fellow students. Thanks again wadetandy. Come early, be loud, wear gray, and fuck Jon Rothstein. Hoya Saxa.

I hope you all choke yourselves with headbands. I had my fun in DC last week and I couldn't make through another Saturday if I tried. I can't even disclose why I wont be there, but rest assured that having your toenails pulled out would be a better Saturday afternoon than what I will be doing.
The Hoyas need to stay focused and take care of business. The Johnnies have won a few in a row, but they haven't played anyone. Our hoyas need to come out on a mission and follow that great American Caprio to victory. Regarding the outcome, I see no reason to change from a perpetual state of OH SHIT nervousness.
Nervous Level: OH SHIT!
View from the Sports Book - An Unbiased Perspective from Vegas:
The Line: Georgetown -7.5. Over/under 120.5
The line opened at Hoyas -8 and has now trickled down to -7.5, reflecting a lack of confidence in our boys in blue and gray to beat these Redmen by more than 7 points. Georgetown is 8-7 ATS so far this season but seems to have St. John's number of late, winning 4 in a row and going 3-1 ATS in the process. I like the chances of extending this streak to 5.
The pick is Georgetown -7.5. Final score Hoyas 67 - Johnnies 58.
Casual Hoya is 10-5 ATS this season.
Overall 66-39-1.
