What some Hoyas are thinkin' about the Hoyas.

We gotta get over on all these guys.

After a month of playing every mid major east of the Mississippi, the moment has arrived. This is the game we all marked on our calendars when the season began, and while Kansas has faltered more than we would have liked, they are still a marquee opponent. Its time to see what these Hoyas are made of.

"Right now, the truth is being obscured."

Yes, we might have only defeated Colgate and Elon by single digits, but there's no reason to panic. This team might not be the best team in Hoya history, but it's certainly not the worst and to have a sky is falling mentality is crazy.

So let's give them a hell of a fight, and maybe we'll come out of it with another signature win. Why?

Because, "Right now dogs have it good"

Hey guys, remember that time we all went to Maui and Henry Sims went ya-ya and we NEARLY beat Kansas? I remember that. That was fun. Guess which large so-far-underwhelming big man's turn it is now for a breakout game against a team we have no business sharing the gym with? That's right, Mikael Hopkins. I know Hopkins has shown flashes so far this year, but this is his coming out party. Josh Smith will end up in foul trouble really early and Mikael is going to be the only thing between us and disaster. And he's going to play superhero. Or we're going to lose by 40. But I think this is Mikael's game. In Mikael I trust. This might be the post-finals sleep-deprived high that I'm riding right now, but I this is how I believe this one will pan out. But I won't be able to watch the game anyway, so feel free to torch me over the course of the next week if I'm wrong. Hoya Saxa.

Hard to be nervous when you don't think there is a chance in hell that a win is possible. Just going to try and relax with a noon bloody mary or 3.

- An Unbiased Perspective from Vegas:

The Line: Kansas -8.5

I don't think the Hoyas win this game and though it's possible we get blown out by 15, I'm willing to take 8.5 and gamble on the boys in blue and gray keeping this close.

The pick is Georgetown +8.5. Final score Rock Chalks 79 - Hoyas 72.

Casual Hoya is 6-2 ATS this season.

Overall 80-46-1.
