I want more, impossible to ignore,
Impossible to ignore.
And they'll come true, impossible not to do,
Impossible not to do.
So has anybody ever seen the movie Varsity Blues? Yall remember that speech that Jon Voight gives at half time of the last game? "48 minutes for the next 48 years of your lives!" When I think of this game, I think of that line. Except our game lasts 40 minutes and our coach isn't an ass hole. I think that this game, even moreso than the Notre Dame game, will determine our course for the remainder of the season. Lousiville is a good team that just lost to a bad Villanova team and they will be coming in as focused as it gets. Georgetown, on the other hand, is coming off their most important win of the season on the road against a Top 25 opponent. Also, if we win, we get to rush the court...right?!?!?! Just kidding, rushing the court is bullshit unless there's a Hoya victory on March 9. Louisville might be the toughest opponent we'll face all year, which is why the Phonebooth will be PACKED with students for the noon (FUCKING NOON AGAIN?!) start tomorrow. Georgetown really upped their game this year, promising a free bus directly to the Verizon Center for a few games this spring if you showed up to enough games last semester. Yours truly will be rocking the party bus tomorrow morning, casually. Come early, be loud, wear gray. Hoya Saxa and FUCK PEYTON SIVA.

I will be making my maiden voyage down the coast to DC on Saturday. I decided not to drive and to treat myself to a nice Acela Train. Hell, I even went for first class because I need to be pampered. This weekend will be a mini eXXXtravaganza with old blog personalities such as takinthepoints making an appearance. This is going to be a great thing and an awful thing, because that guy only knows one speed when it comes to relaxing on saturdays in DC. God help us!?!?
South Bend was really relaxing, but I am not sold on this team. I think it was a case of us being really on (by us, I mean OTTO). Everyone knows that LuVille has lost 2 in a row. I am really nervous because I can't remember Pitino losing many 3 game sets. They also have an athletic 5 and we, um, don't have that.
I really hope the stella spigot is flowing cold!
Nervous Level: Perpetually Oh Shit!

The Line: Louisville -5.5 Over/under 121.5.
It's anyone's guess which Georgetown team shows up tomorrow, but I'll go with something in between the horrific one that putzed around the Verizon center court against Pitt and the FINAL FOUR BOUND one that took the court against Notre Dame. The real key is which Louisville squad shows up, and unfortunately I can't imagine that after 2-straight dumpster fires, the team that plays tomorrow is going to be anything less than hell on Earth for our young Hoyas.
The pick is Louisville -5.5. Final score Louisville 68 - Hoyas 59.
Casual Hoya is 9-4 ATS this season.
Overall 65-38-1.
