Peters is the 42nd ranked player in the ESPN Top 100 players in the Class of 2013 and one of the top point guards that remains uncommitted.
More on Peters and highlights after The Jump:
Though Georgetown doesn't have any remaining scholarships as of right now for 2013, the Hoyas are expected to be a bit thin at the point spot next season, with Markel Starks as the only true point guard and Jabril Trawick and D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera playing combo roles. The addition of Peters would be a nice one for Georgetown, and the 6'4" point guard has impressed in a number of offseason tournaments.
Maryland is expected to be a major player for Peters, so this will be an interesting local recruiting war between Georgetown assistant Kevin Broadus and Maryland's Dalonte Hill.
