Class of 2012 Center Nerlens Noel Will Visit Georgetown on Sunday

According to a source, Class of 2012 center Nerlens Noel will take an official visit to Georgetown's campus on Sunday. Noel, the #1 ranked center in the Class of 2012, recently trimmed his list to Georgetown, Kentucky, Syracuse, UConn, and North Carolina.

More After The Jump:

Noel, who has already visited Kentucky and Syracuse, will hopefully be with the team when it finds out its NCAA Tournament destination at Leo's on Selection Sunday. Through Noel will not see a Hoyas home game at the Verizon Center, being with the team on Selection Sunday has been a successful recruiting tool in the past, as both center Moses Ayegba and forward Greg Whittington were at Georgetown on Selection Sunday in years past. Noel would fill an immediate need in Georgetown's frontcourt next season with the departure of Henry Sims and would make the Hoyas one of the prohibitive favorites to win the Big East.

Noel, whose high school team Tilton (NH) deploys the Princeton offense, lost to Nate Lubick's high school squad St. Mark's yesterday (Lubick's brother Eli plays for St. Mark's and it is coached by Lubick's father).

Below check out some highlights of Noel set to fairly dramatic music:
