Peanut Gallery: Georgetown Hoyas vs. Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers

What some Hoyas are thinkin' about the Hoyas.

View from the DJ Booth - A Musical Perspective from lordnick:

Oh look, now these blog idiots have come to their senses and given Blog DJ top-billing in this ridiculous post because everyone knows that Billy Idol single-handedly led the Hoyas to victory in our first three games and nearly pulled off the greatest upset of all-time against Indiana. But now that Georgetown has lost, Billy has to go. RELAX. I fully expect Michael Stipe & Co. to carry us through to conference play. Maybe even exclusively from "Automatic for the People."

View from the Student Section - A Youthful Perspective from Campus:

Ah man, what a week. I really enjoyed the extra sleep the last few nights after our Fightin Hoyas prevented me from starting my major lab report until 12:30 AM. How great was that Indiana game though? I mean we've gotten into the national spotlight finally! No no, not for good basketball play, but because our student body loves throwin up the birds on national television! Hoya Saxa right?

Anyway, now that we've all gorged ourselves on turkey and bought all our Christmas gifts at 3 AM because apparently it's never too early in the morning to open a store, it's time for us to get back to focusing on what matters, Georgetown basketball! I actually have a friend who goes to Mount St. Mary's, she thinks they're as good of a team as Georgetown. Needless to say, this friend knows very little about college basketball. These guys lost to Pitt by 30 for goodness sake! We're back to playing cupcakes, and I really hope the UCLA/Indiana Georgetown team shows up rather than the Duquesne/Liberty team, but I don't have much confidence that this team won't go back to playing down to its opponent. Either way, since I didn't go back home to good ole Texas, I'll be getting my butt up early to attend this noon game with the other 5 students that are on campus, so look for a roaring student section this time around! Come early (but not too early), be loud, wear gray. Hoya Saxa!

View from the Cheap Seats - A Nervous Perspective from JahidiLikesPie:

This will be the first game I see in person. I will likely be one of 12 people in the arena. I am more nervous about the beer selections that will be available than the game.

Nervousness Level: Doesn't even register.

View from the Sports Book
- An Unbiased Perspective from Vegas:

The Line: OFF.

No fucking line? I'm waking up on a damn Saturday to watch the damn Mount and I can't even fucking bet on this shit? Fuck this. Hopefully Bolden and Hayes play at least goddammit.

Casual Hoya is 2-1 ATS this season.
Overall 57-36-1.
