I have to admit that when we first embarked on what is now THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON known as CasualHoya.com, I had never heard of Kent Adrian, the Georgetown fan known affectionately by others as Glide. However, that soon changed. Glide, who attends every Georgetown home game and sits right behind the visitor's bench, is not just a superfan, he is also the author of his blog, a twitter maven who is approaching 80,000 tweets, and a living icon of the program whose dedication to the school and the team is unmatched.

Today, I write this because GLIDE NEEDS YOU. Glide has been nominated as Georgetown's #1 fan and needs our support to win this contest put on by The Legends Classic, the tournament at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn that Georgetown will be participating in along with Indiana, UCLA and Georgia among others.
