Georgetown vs. South Florida: 'Sluggish' Hoyas hold off the Bulls
"Today, Free was a little off," said Wright, who moved past Jeff Green and into 18th place on Georgetown's all-time scoring list. "If that means I've got to score, then that's what it is. It's a matter of understanding the flow of the game and what the team needs."

Hoya Prospectus: Recap: Georgetown 61, USF 55
Georgetown's defense overall was lousy in the game, and this was a carry-over from the UConn game.  If the defense is indeed reverting to its mid-season form, the Hoyas are in trouble, especially with Freeman looking so hesitant with his vanished outside shooting touch.

Georgetown Hoyas vs. South Florida Bulls - Recap - February 19, 2011 - ESPN
"It's good to have players that know how and when to help each other, to pick each other up and to cover for each other. ... There's going to be different people's turn on different nights, and tonight it was Chris," Thompson said.

USF Bulls get close but fall to No. 9 Georgetown Hoyas 61-55 - St. Petersburg Times
"With the exception of Notre Dame, every game has been just like this," Hoyas coach John Thompson III said. "Every game has been close. They've been in it, they've been up, down by a short margin. As a coach, you worry and try to express that to your team. Every game has been literally just like this. What it is (that's kept the Bulls from winning) … I'm not equipped to answer that. I'm just glad we turned out on the side we did."

Wright's performance was key for Georgetown, especially considering that leading scorer Austin Freeman shot 2-for-10 and finished with four points.

Voodoo Five - For South Florida Bulls Fans
At the under-8 media timeout in the second half, Burr decided he'd had enough of a fan yelling at him and threw him out of the game. (Just to add some spice, this fan was sitting in a major donor's seats, although it was not the actual donor who was ejected.) We're hearing that Burr blew his whistle at the fan like he was going to T him up, and then had the guy escorted out of the Sun Dome.
